Daniel F. Town is an associate attorney with a background in business, contract, and maritime law, as well as litigation prosecution and defense. Mr. Town gained early litigation experience during law school in his tenure as a legal intern at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Tampa, where he assisted in both criminal and civil federal litigation; and as a Certified Legal Intern with the Sixth Circuit State Attorney’s Office in Clearwater, FL, where he prosecuted misdemeanors. As an attorney, Mr. Town has represented clients in matters including insurance defense, aviation and maritime law, high-value business transactions, and general business counseling.
Mr. Town received his Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law in 2020, where he earned the William F. Blews Pro Bono Service Award and First Place in the Environmental Tax Policy Writing Competition. Mr. Town earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at the University of South Florida, where he served as Associate Justice of the Student Government Supreme Court and as President of the Pre-Law Society. During his undergraduate and law school studies, Mr. Town managed two small businesses in the marine industry, which garnered him practical business experience and allowed him to appreciate the client’s perspective in the attorney-client relationship.
Mr. Town is bilingual in English and Spanish, and enjoys giving back to his community by volunteering and supporting legal aid services to assist those in need. In his spare time, Daniel enjoys learning new languages, traveling, and sailing with his Maltese puppies.
